Valley residents will be plagued with very hot temperatures and air quality alerts this week.
Phoenix National Weather Service Meteorologist Bianca Hernandez says Wednesday’s high mark could be a record for mid-August. “It probably won’t be that hard to break, especially on Wednesday, cuz the record is only 110 and that was set back in 2007 and we’re forecasting temperatures close to 115.”
Forecasters are calling for a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms in Phoenix by Friday night.
