Hispanic consumers and business owners will continue to have an increasingly important role in Arizona’s economy in the future, and the Hispanic population is expected to grow.

Arizona is now one of nine states where the Hispanic population is greater than 1 million, sitting now at more than 2.2 million. That’s more than triple the population in 1990.

Those are some of the key findings from the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s 2019 DATOS report on the state of Arizona’s Hispanic market.

To dig into this further, The Show spoke with Monica Villalobos, president and CEO of the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
