Woz U started with a grand promise from Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak to revolutionize tech education without plunging students into debt.

Wozniak announced the opening of the coding school in 2017, and despite the lofty promises, Woz U immediately had problems — namely that it didn’t have approval to operate. Now, the school is giving up its license by May 1, 2020.
