The Phoenix Suns are off to a surprisingly bright start this season.

While the season has really only just begun, the outlook for the Suns is far more positive that fans dared to hope. The team’s record currently stands at 5-3 after a loss to the Miami Heat on Thursday night, and they’re looking solid, or at least more solid than expected, especially after the stinging news that starting center Deandre Ayton is suspended for 25 games.

So is this for real, or could this rosy start just be a fluke?

Gina Mizell covers the Suns for The Athletic, and joined The Show to talk about their performance.
