Three seventh-graders at Northland Preparatory Academy in Flagstaff have won the honor of having their science experiment conducted on the International Space Station.

The Arizona Daily Sun reports the winning project looks at questions about how food grows in space, something crucially important to long-term space exploration. It’s scheduled to launch into orbit in April.
