Paige Poppe.

The Show highlights the creative builders, makers and designers that are sharing their talents with Arizonans in the Made in Arizona series.

You’ve probably seen her work in local boutiques or at an especially eye-catching booth at your neighborhood farmers’ market. Her vibrant watercolor designs have jumped from the canvas to a variety of mediums — greeting cards, jewelry, the walls of buildings.

Paige Poppe pops.

Conveniently located in her parents’ garage, Poppe's Scottsdale studio is full of boxes for shipping, easels for painting — and it’s punctuated by the hot pinks, lime greens and sunny yellows that define much of her commercial work.

The Show started by asking her how she came to see the dusty desert like this — through the lens of a Lisa Frank fan who finds bright colors all around her.
