4 Maricopa County Superior Court Judges Retiring

PHOENIX — Four more Maricopa County Superior Court judges are retiring.

The four judges who are retiring include Presiding Judge Norman Davis. The others are Mark Aceto, Bethany Hicks and Gerald Porter.

June 16 is the deadline to apply for the four openings.

Meanwhile, the Maricopa County Commission on Trial Court Appointments is seeking public comment on 15 applicants for three other vacancies on the Maricopa County Superior Court bench.

The 15 candidates include Michael Anderson, Alison Bachus, Gregory Como, Wendy Coy, Stephen Hopkins, Kerstin G. LeMaire and Edith Lucero.

The others are Steven Lynch, Joshua Rogers, Jeffrey Rueter, Aryeh Schwartz, Louis Seletos, Shellie Smith, Ronee K. Steiner and Lisa VandenBerg.

The commission will recommend at least three nominees for each vacancy to Gov. Doug Ducey, who will appoint the new judges.
