Many political observers expect Arizona to live up to a purple label it claimed in the 2018 election cycle.

That’s one reason why the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee has included the state on its short list of seven where it will spend money to flip the House and Senate to Democratic majorities.

In 2018, the DLCC spent about $600,000 in Arizona, and it expects to at least match that amount this year.
