Maricopa County’s Board of Supervisors on Monday approved 229 voting sites for the upcoming Presidential Preference Election (PPE).

The county is trying to improve on four years ago, when voters faced extremely long wait times. Those lines were a side effect of the county drastically reducing its number of polling places. Voters can also cast a mail-in ballot.

Most of the current locations for the Democratic Party PPE on March 17 will be for a specific neighborhood precinct. Forty sites, however, will be “vote anywhere” locations; for those sites, you don’t have to be assigned to them to use them.

You can view a list of polling locations here and register to vote here. The voter registration deadline is Feb. 18.

The PPE is only for registered Democrats, as no other party is choosing to hold a primary this year.
