Study Finds Moderate Warming Depletes Groundwater Reservoirs

Climate change is threatening groundwater reservoirs, according to a new study released by researchers in Arizona and Colorado. They found that even moderate warming will cause plants to reach into the water supplies hidden beneath and deplete them.

Even though we cannot immediately see the groundwater, it is vitally important to our water future. So, what do these findings mean?
