Alexandra Watts joined KJZZ as a digital intern in May 2015. She is currently a student at Arizona State University majoring in both journalism and English.

Born and raised in Phoenix, Watts graduated with honors from a small performing arts high school. Her love for the arts, especially music, continues as she pursues her undergraduate degrees.

Watts has had a multimedia background, editing her college radio station's music blog, as well as hosting an oldies show focusing on the years 1955-1970. She currently hosts a local music podcast with the Downtown Devil, a student-run publication. She is also working for ASU's Public Insight Network (PIN) Bureau.

She loves discovering new playlists filled with old songs, switching the radio stations between public radio and The Beatles, art and getting into long conversations at record stores.
