NASA started accepting astronaut applications Monday for the first time in four years.

Its goal is to send a man and a woman to the moon through their Artemis program by 2024 and prepare future astronauts to go to Mars during the 2030s.

Aspiring astronauts can make more than $150,000 a year. But, they must have a master’s degree in science, math, engineering or technology and at least 1,000 hours of piloting.

They must also pass the NASA long-duration spaceflight physical and two-hour online assessment.

After their training, astronauts will work in the International Space Station, conducting experiments about life on the moon and Mars.

Candidates have until the end of March to apply, and NASA will select astronauts by 2021.
