On Friday, Arizona’s Secretary of State Katie Hobbs accused the Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes of violating orders to not mail ballots to Arizonans who aren’t on early voting lists.

Fontes, for his part, insists that his actions are within the scope of the law and his efforts are to insure all Arizonans get a chance to cast their vote as polling locations close down to prevent the coronavirus transmission.

State Attorney General Mark Brnovich doesn’t agree, and filed a suit with the Arizona Supreme Court to stop the mailings, the court agreed and those ballots won’t be mailed out.

Recorder Adrian Fontes joined The Show to explain this effort to mail out these ballots.
