ASU Economics Professor Explains How Oil Price Drop Affects The U.S.

The extended reach of coronavirus, a battle for market share between Russia and Saudi Arabia, and reduced demand have sent the price of oil plunging.

Normally, that would be a good sign for consumers via the gas pumps, but with more of us staying home, we’re not filling our tanks as frequently and benefiting from lower prices.

Bart Hobijn, professor of economics at Arizona State University, joined The Show to talk about it.
