Arizona renters financially affected by the coronavirus won’t face eviction if they fail to pay rent. Gov. Ducey issued an executive order Tuesday delaying enforcement of eviction orders for a total of four months.

The move is applauded by agencies that work with people on the verge of homelessness.

The Show talked to Shannon Clancy, associate executive director of Saint Vincent de Paul, a nonprofit that helped more than 10,000 families in need of rent and utility assistance last year. She shared her reaction to the 4-month eviction freeze.
