The Arizona Attorney General’s office announced six warrants were served Wednesday in connection with illegal prostitution and money laundering in massage parlors.

Three warrants were served in Glendale, two in Phoenix and one in Scottsdale. Attorney General spokesperson Mia Garcia said agents with the office think these operations have been laundering money for more than five years.

“Special agents believe the suspects are responsible for laundering hundreds of thousands of dollars earned through these illegal enterprises, going back all the way to 2009,” Garcia said.

Five suspects were arrested and two more are still wanted.
