Yuma County authorities are linking two deaths to a heat wave that has sent temperatures above 110 degrees.

Sheriff's deputies say a 69-year-old transient was found dead of heat-related causes in a field near U.S. Highway 95 on Monday.

Deputies also say an 80-year-old woman was found dead in her apartment with the air conditioning turned off.
