The search is on in the Tucson Unified School District, for the vandals who damaged 11 buses over the weekend. Police say they have very little to go on after rocks were thrown over the fence at the district’s transportation center.

TUSD spokeswoman Cara Rene says there is no video surveillance on the bus parking lot.

“We have surveillance videos on all of our buses but they wouldn’t have been running at the time because the buses were stationary and in the barn, so we’re just going to rely on police and our school safety department to try to sort of figure out what happened,” Rene said.

Police say the damage goes beyond a juvenile prank and would likely fall into the felony criminal damage range.
