Lauren Loftus joined the KJZZ digital team in 2015. She is a graduate of the master's program at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University, where she focused on investigative reporting and digital production.

Prior to working at KJZZ, Loftus wrote features for The Washington Post, covered social issues in Arizona for Cronkite News and explored the American gun debate as a fellow with the Carnegie-Knight News21 investigative journalism program.

When she's not working, Loftus is a fan of tennis, both great and terrible TV, breweries and cat videos.
