Ruben Gallego was elected to Arizona's 7th Congressional District.

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors will vote Monday morning on a replacement for former State Rep. Ruben Gallego.

The Democrat, who represented Legislative District 27, resigned to run for the Congressional seat being vacated by Ed Pastor.

Eight people have applied for Gallego’s old job. A panel of community leaders has recommended three of the candidates.
