Arizona's Biosciences Roadmap has been in place for a decade. What has its impact been on the economy and health care?
This is KJZZ’s Morning Edition. I’m Steve Goldstein in Phoenix. Ten years ago, a public-private partnership was formed to create Arizona’s Biosciences Roadmap—a strategy for the state to compete for higher-paying science jobs that could also lead to medical advancements. With me now to mark the 10th anniversary is Brad Halvorsen, Vice President of Communications for the Flinn Foundation, which in 2001 made a $50 million commitment to advance biosciences in Arizona.
