With the official start of the Monsoon season set for Sunday and red flag warnings in effect Friday in many parts of the state, the Arizona Department of Transportation is asking drivers to respond to a survey on first-hand experiences with driving in dust storms.

The survey is an effort to learn what people who drive in Arizona know about driving in a dust storm. Drivers are asked how often they seek information about driving conditions, where and how they get the information, and how often they drive on sections of Arizona freeway that are well-known for blowing dust.

These include Interstate 10 between Phoenix and Tucson, Interstate 8 between Yuma and Casa Grande, and sections of Interstate 10 in southeastern Arizona and Interstate 40 in the northern part of the state.

ADOT says the survey will take about 15 minutes and that the information you provide will be strictly confidential.  It's asking surveys be completed by July 20.
