Gas prices continue to fall across Arizona

May 03, 2013

The price of gas continues to drop in Arizona. AAA Arizona says the statewide average this morning is $3.44 a gallon, down a nickel in the last week.

Spokeswoman Stephanie Dembowski says prices remain low for several reasons.

"Mostly lower oil costs, ample refinery production, and continued weak demand however production issues and some weather issues are contributing to higher prices in some other parts of the country," Dembowski said.

Drivers in Tucson continue to pay the state's lowest prices at $3.22 a gallon, while Flagstaff drivers pay the most at $3.69.
