Small business owner reflects on Proposition 100's impact

May 11, 2013

Some of the loudest critics of Proposition 100, the voter-approved temporary one cent sales tax increase, were small business owners.

They worried about, among other things, how the higher tax would affect their sales. Prop 100 will expire at the end of the month, and throughout May, we are talking about how it has affected the state.

KJZZ's Mark Brodie spoke with Lance Muzslay, the co-owner of Sole Sports Running, which sells shoes and other athletic apparel in three Valley locations. Sitting in the break room in one of his stores, Muzslay said he was generally opposed to Prop 100 when it was on the ballot.
