Republican congressmen call for further investigation of scandals

Arizona's Republican congressmen are pointing to what they say is a culture of cover-ups by the Obama administration, including scandals involving the IRS and the Associated Press. Congressman David Schweikert says the incidents come on top of other scandals he claims have never been fully investigated.

“My operating theory right now is: it’s politics all the time,” Schweikert said. “And whether it be from the administration or the administration’s minions throughout the government, it was all about winning elections.”

The former leader of the IRS, who was in charge when agents improperly targeted Tea Party groups, goes before congress today. Douglas Schulman has already said politics were not involved in the decisions over tax exempt status.
