Arizona charity sends food and relief supplies to Oklahoma City tornado victims
An Arizona charity is sending bottled water and ready-to-eat meals to tornado victims in Oklahoma. The supplies were requested by officials in Oklahoma City.

(Photo by Steve Shadley-KJZZ)At least four big trucks will transport thousands of bottles of water and other goods from Phoenix to the people of Oklahoma whose homes and businesses were destroyed in the tornadoes that hit Monday.
St. Mary’s Food Bank spokesman Jerry Brown encouraged people in the Phoenix area to donate bottles of water, packaged meals and even cash to help the food bank meet demand for the supplies.
“Trucks are already rolling to make sure that folks are going to be able to be helped, and if you can help the food bank replenish the stocks that we are sending to Oklahoma you’d really be helping everybody," Brown said.
Brown said anyone who wants to help out can make donations to the St. Mary’s Food Banks in Phoenix and Surprise, or they can drop off items at Valley area Goodwill stores.
