Coconino County Sheriff's deputies have recovered a number of items that had been stolen from a Burlington Northern-Santa Fe freight train in eastern Arizona. Lieutenant Jim Coffey said the loot was recovered in an abandoned U-Haul truck at a motel parking lot in Williams.

“Although we don’t know the exact value, some of the estimates we received from BNSF railroad were that these items would be valued at several hundred-thousand dollars,” Coffey said.

Coffey said it is estimated the goods they found are worth several $100,000. He said it looks like the items were stolen from a train Saturday morning. Those responsible have not yet been found.
