Students will start moving into college dormitories in the next several days. Arizona universities are reporting their student residence population is increasing.

University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University and Arizona State University are reporting the number of student residents has increased this school year. UofA said the number of students registered to live on campus is now nearly 7,000. NAU said about 9,000 are expected to live in its school dorms. ASU reported more than 13,500 students will move into residential halls across its four campuses starting this weekend.

“Aproximately 8,300 first-year students, which is an all-time record, will be living on ASU’s residential colleges," said ASU spokeperson Diana Bejarano. "And approximately 5,500 upper-class students have chosen to come back and live on campus as well.”   

UofA and NAU students are expected to move into campus residential halls next week.
