After a month-long investigation, the University of Arizona has withdrawn recognition of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity.

University of Arizona’s Phi Gamma Delta fraternity has been found guilty of multiple violations against the Student Code of Conduct. The fraternity, more commonly known as FIJI, must cease all activity on the UofA campus until April 2019.

FIJI was suspended and placed under investigation in July after the university found frat members were hazing new recruits, providing alcohol to minors and not cooperating with university officials. The fraternity was already on probation when these violations occurred.

Students associated with the investigation are now facing individual charges. They could be suspended or expelled from the university based on the severity of their offenses.
