Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a New York man for allegedly stalking and threatening two national television commentators and an Arizona woman. 48-year-old David Simpson was arrested in Bath, NY after Sheriff Joe Arpaio says he became attached to convicted murderer Jodi Arias during her trial, and sent tweets to the victims.

Among the many tweets made by Simpson were threats to the commentators such as ‘strap them to a tree naked,’” Arpaio said.

Arpaio says deputies found guns, ammo, a knife, zip-ties and handcuffs in Simpson's car. He's been indicted for stalking and computer tampering.
