First Responders Amazed With Tour Bus Accident

July 30, 2013

First responders from several agencies in northern Arizona said they were amazed nobody was injured when a tour bus entered a flooded wash near Dolan Springs and was swept about 300 yards downstream where it flipped onto its side. Trish Carter of the Mohave County Sheriff's Office said they are investigating the bus driver for speed or impairment after he drove into the obviously flooded wash.

“You’re talking a professional bus tour establishment,” Carter said. “We’re going to take in a lot of factors in review in this.”

The driver could be charged with violating Arizona's "Stupid Motorist Law."
