Grand Avenue To Get Makeover

If you have driven on Grand Avenue through the West Valley recently, you probably understand why planners are working on ideas to improve the roadway. A group of West Valley cities and other entities formed a group to look into changes along the corridor from Loop 303 in Surprise to Willetta Street between McDowell and Interstate 10 in Phoenix. One of the people behind that work is Bob Hazlett, senior engineer with the Maricopa Association of Governments or MAG.
One of the cities that would be affected by any changes on Grand Avenue is Surprise, and Mayor Sharon Wolcott discussed such changes.
