Suns Player Arrested During Traffic Stop After Officer Finds Marijuana In Car

August 07, 2013

Suns forward Michael Beasley is in trouble with the law, again. He was arrested early yesterday in Scottsdale after a traffic stop. Police spokesman, Officer David Pubins says an officer smelled the odor of marijuana coming from Beasley's vehicle.

“The officer basically took a look inside of the passenger compartment and was able to find three joints, marijuana that was a usable quantity,” Pubins said.

It was Beasley's third brush with the law since he was acquired by the suns last year.  He was investigated in May for sexual assault and was cited for several driving violations, in January.
