Maricopa County Property Tax Rate Remains The Same

August 20, 2013

Maricopa County homeowners will see a bit of a break on their property taxes. The Board of Supervisors voted unanimously yesterday to keep the tax rate the same, despite increasing property values.

“We’re basically cutting about $33 million in property taxes,” Maricopa County Supervisor Mary Rose Wilcox said. “Per the average home owner, it might mean $10 to $13.”

The tax rate is $1.46 for each $100 of value.
