Yuma Charter High School Continues To Seek Community Support

Most of the Valley’s schools are now in session, but the planned opening of a charter high school in Yuma is on hold. The Yuma Sun said the Arizona Foundation for Social Justice is trying to secure the level of backing it believes is necessary to commit itself to the $8 million loan the group would use to build the school. The foundation has also postponed its application to the Arizona Board of Charter Schools for accreditation.
