The cost of gas continues to drop in Arizona, with the statewide average down
four cents from a week ago, at $3.31. And AAA spokeswoman Michelle Donatti
says the declines could be even more dramatic in the next couple months.
“Given current market factors, the nationwide fuel average
could drop another 25 to 30 cents before the end of the year,” Donatti said.
“And Arizona prices
could experience similar declines barring unforeseen circumstances”
Flagstaff still has the
highest average prices in Arizona,
at $3.56 a gallon. That’s down 2 cents from last week. Tucson has the lowest prices, at $3.24, down
3 cents from last Friday.
