Students, professionals and volunteers are hosting a health fair Saturday to help the homeless.

Health screenings, flu shots, HIV testing and other services will be provided. The fair is located at the student-run Lodestar Day Resource clinic in downtown Phoenix.

Mary Saxon, a student director, said community partners will connect patients to available services such as health care enrollment.

“This campus alone is kind of segmented from like a lot of the resources in Phoenix. It’s kind of in a location where there’s not as many things, as many resources around so it’s great to bring the resources to them,” Saxon said.

The Health Fair will take place from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
