The #RedforEd movement made a major statement at the Arizona Capitol this year, both before and during their six-day strike. The galleries in both the state House and Senate were full of teachers in red shirts, watching — and learning about — the budget and legislative processes.

But, how much will that newfound knowledge impact future legislatures, or this fall’s elections?
