Las Vegas casino workers could go ahead with a citywide strike as early as June 1.

About 50,000 employees will see their contracts expire next week at a total of 34 Vegas strip and downtown resorts. The last time the unions voted to strike was in 2002, but a compromise was reached. The last time a strike actually took place was 1984.

For more on what's happen, The Show turned to Todd Prince, a business reporter who covers tourism and gaming for the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
