It’s deadline day for petitions putting Arizona initiatives on the November ballot.

There are 14 proposals expected at the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office on Thursday.

Several initiatives expect to have enough signatures to make the ballot, including the Invest in Ed campaign. It will ask voters whether to nearly double tax rates on Arizona’s wealthiest to raise almost $700 million annually for education.

Signatures are also expected for the Clean Energy for a Healthy Arizona initiative. It shifts the amount of solar energy used today from 6 percent to 50 percent by 2030.

The Outlaw Dirty Money campaign is pushing until 5:00 on Thursday for signatures. It will give voters the constitutional right to know who is contributing to political campaigns.
