An ASU physics professor, internationally known for his work on the Doomsday Clock, won’t be returning to his job after a sexual misconduct investigation.

Lawrence Krauss posted on Twitter Thursday that the school isn’t renewing his five-year contract, which expired last month.

Krauss was director of the ASU Origins Project, which he called a "great privilege." He also resigned from a board at the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists.

In March, four ex-university employees say Krauss often made sexist remarks and other former coworkers say he groped or forcibly kissed them

Krauss strongly denied the allegations, but was put on paid leave pending a review.

ASU officials say Krauss remains on administrative leave from the university and declined further comment Thursday.
