Arizona Forest Thinning Project Aims To Protect Water Supply

A number of state and federal agencies have joined forces on a plan to improve forest health and protect water supplies on the Mogollon Rim.

The project appears to be a scaled-down version of past efforts, like the Four Forest Restoration Initiative (4Fri).

Joshua Bowling is an environment reporter for the Arizona Republic who’s written about this. He joined The Show to tell us about this plan to clear trees out of the forest while helping water supplies.
