A billboard in Phoenix reminds people to vote in the 2018 midterm elections.

Remember those billboards years ago that were supposed to be messages from God? “Don’t make me come down there” or “we need to talk” they would say.

Those were pretty attention-grabbing. Now some new eye-catching billboards — over 200 of them — are popping up in the Valley with a one-word message: Vote. It’s the start of a 9-state, 17-city campaign reminding us that election day is coming.

The Show heard from Vote.org's COO Raven Brooks about why they're particularly targeting Phoenix.

As for the motives of Vote.org, Brooks said they are a completely nonpartisan nonprofit — who you vote for is your choice — they just want to urge you make your voice heard on on November 6.
