The Arizona Board of Regents meets Thursday in Phoenix to discuss the next steps in the University of Arizona’s investigation into its men’s basketball program.

UA President Robert Robbins is among those expected to make remarks to the board. The meeting comes in the wake of new allegations of misconduct around the Wildcats program after a federal criminal trial revealed details of play for pay schemes involving players.

An ABOR spokesperson the meeting is a “regular update to the regents” during an executive session.

ESPN has reported Sean Miller, Wildcats head coach, had frequent contact with an aspiring agent with ties to a sports apparel company. The agent Christian Dawkins, along with two Adidas executives, were convicted on federal fraud charges in October.

Miller has repeatedly denied accusations that he knew anything about the schemes, insisting he has never knowingly violated NCAA rules.
