Romaine lettuce grown in Yuma, Arizona should be returning to the shelves soon. This comes after a nationwide warning from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The CDC warned people on Tuesday not to serve, sell or eat any Romaine lettuce. That was after 32 cases of E. coli were reported in 13 states.

Now, the Food and Drug Administration says the lettuce grown in Yuma has been cleared. FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb said the contaminated lettuce likely came from California and clean lettuce from Arizona and Florida will soon be back in stores.

The FDA is working with distributors to make sure consumers know the product has been deemed safe.
