Campaign Finance Law Allowing Exceptions Declared Unconstitutional

A Maricopa County Superior Court judge has ruled a 2017 state law on campaign finance is unconstitutional.

The measure had created exceptions to reporting requirements on campaign spending and took away some of the powers of the voter-created Citizens Clean Elections Commission.
