On Monday afternoon, Gov. Ducey delivers his State of the State speech, outlining his priorities for the 2019 legislative session.

The Show recently sat down with House Minority Leader Charlene Fernandez of Yuma.

She pointed out that in his inaugural address last week, the governor talked about working across the aisle, and said she’s hopeful that’ll happen this year.

Fernandez talked about whether she’s been hopeful about past sessions, as well, or if her optimism is a function of the new numbers in the House, where Republicans hold a 31-29 advantage.
