Authorities say U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents dropped two bus loads of migrant families in Phoenix on Saturday at a bus station.

Two drop offs took place Saturday at a Greyhound bus station near 24th Street and Buckeye Road. The Arizona Republic reported members of a Valley church set up refreshments for the families before mapping out places to stay.

An ICE spokeswoman did not say how many people were dropped off, but said that the bus station releases were necessary because organizations the agency normally work with couldn't accommodate the groups.

ICE had previously dropped migrants off at Greyhound stations in Phoenix and El Paso late last year.
