Arizona officials are starting the one year countdown to the 2020 Census, and they want to use that year to tell residents why it’s important that they’re counted.

Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, in particular, is one of those elected officials talking about this.

The Show spoke with her and asked what she thinks are the most important reasons to make sure as many Phoenix residents as possible are counted.
