April marks the start of Ozone Season in the Valley, which runs through
September -- a longer-than-average season for higher levels of ozone
pollution.
Ozone is produced when heat and sunlight interact with vehicle emissions
and other chemicals in the air, so the long, hot days of summer are
prime conditions for producing elevated ozone levels.

Pinal County’s top prosecutor wants his county to stop processing permits for medical marijuana dispensaries. Arizona consumers are apparently feeling more confident about the economy. New figures from the Behavior Research Center show 29 percent think current business conditions are good. That's the best number in years, with the percentage who think jobs are hard to get now at just 43 percent.
